We don't like keeping our clients in suspense for long stretches. There's no "dramatic," Mad Men style reveal at the end. Instead, we believe in frequent updates and getting feedback along the way. That way, nobody's time is wasted on a design that isn't working for your audience.
While every project is different, generally we follow a simple, five-step process:
-
Talk. Whether you’ve got a solid idea or aren’t sure where to start, we’d love to hear from you. Give us a call, send us an email, or stop by – whatever works for you. Let’s talk about your goals, your concerns, and what we can do to help.
-
Plan. We’ll get back to you with an estimate. If approved, we’ll immediately begin researching, sketching, and designing a solution to meet the needs of your audience. At this point, we’ll ask for anything that might help us build the right project, including
-
written content
-
logos and graphics
-
photos
-
current web address
-
analytics data
-
a list of competitors and websites you like
-
Preview. We'll send you pixel-perfect mockups to give you a sense of what your site will look like. Then, we'll call and discuss what's working and what needs work. We want honest feedback so we can make the best site possible.
-
Build. It's time to build your website. While we're at it, we install Google Analytics to start gathering visitor statistics. We may contact you at times when we have questions or concerns, usually with a link to the page in question in an e-mail. If you haven't already provided us with text, images, and content, now's a good time.
-
Launch! We move your website from our test server to our live server, so your website becomes visible to the public. We'll schedule a time to meet and show you the ropes of your new website, including how to edit it (if you chose to include a Content Manager). We'll continue to manage the back end of your website from this time forward for as long as you'd like us to.
