We loved working with the team at Scott County Kids. They connect parents to services that promote positive development for children from birth to age 18, both physical and mental health. Their work is very important to families in our area, especially to those who are underserved and stand to benefit most from the resources available across our county. But their previous website was difficult to navigate and difficult to update, so we worked with them to build something better.
Their new site divides resources meant to help parents from those meant to help providers (e.g., owners/staff of day cares). We developed a tagging system to connect people to the kinds of resources they are looking for. So, a parent seeking Medical Assistance can easily find all programs that match that description. We also implemented search tools and added a document managment system, which helps administrators too. The whole site is mobile-friendly and on brand with their recently redesigned logo, which reflects the helpful, vibrant spirit of the organization and people who run it. Scott County Kids is based in Davenport, IA and serves families and providers thoughout the county.
